All right, it's been a long time since i updated my blog.

Then again, what a time to update, just a few hours to first day of a new Semester. i ought to be sleeping but somehow i just have this feeling that i should stay awake to complete some things before my last Semester holidays officially end real soon.

Dream

Took an afternoon nap just now and i had a weird dream. haha! A dream about the NJ soccer team guys meeting up with our teacher in-charge. She was briefing the team on some issue and then she broke into tears. My goodness, it was 'so her' that i didn't feel like i was in a dream. haha!

Anyway, it certainly brought back wonderful memories of working with her. Plus, it's always a good experience to work under a boss of the fairer sex. At least, i am more sensitive now.

Boys to Men

Anyway, we had our usual Sunday soccer session. Anyway, a few of us didn't make it. Eugene who is currently doing his internship in Shanghai, no news from Detong and Javin who overslept due to his school's project.

Come and think of it, when will be the next session with the full turnout?

On the bright side, my brother is back from his army training. haha! Quite surprised to see other teams joining us too. It's just like a mini-tournament. Thank goodness, i didn't do or say anything stupid to turn the friendly competition into fiery chaos. haha! i treasure the good old Sunday Soccer sessions.

Then again, there's this tall bloke who's was too competitive. Pissed most of us off. haha! Thought my brother taught him a good lesson with a moment of individual brilliance. Plus, i didn't see it coming from him because strength wasn't his plus point.

Anyway, my brother took a quick shot and the tall bloke managed to block (not a surprise, considering his long legs). Perhaps, his centre of gravity was too high and he fell to the ground. Somehow, my brother still managed to retain the ball and continued to dribble before slotting it past the keeper with his weaker foot! Weaker foot! I thought it was really funny!

Perhaps, he's really stronger now. Thanks to his NS trainings. Anyway, he just returned to the far far island for his army training a few hours ago. Come and think of it, i was really lucky compared to him. At least, my parents used to give me lifts during my NS days.

Come and think of it, i haven't exactly been very independent... Time to change.

Trickbusters
Well, i have been keeping myself busy watching videos on youtube about the secrets of magic tricks. i just love to be entertained by the trickbusters. i love their names and their style of presentation. Plus, they are extremely creative and sarcastic. haha. Ultimate A+ production.

MIT's Breaking Vegas ( BlackJack)
After getting sick and tired of magic tricks, i switched to something more realistic and informative. These smart students from MIT in the 90's were definitely in a different league. With the opening of the new Integrated Resort, undergraduates can consider joining some blackjack team. They can probably earn more by playing blackjack than taking up tutition assignment. Well, i am more down-to-earth so i will give this a miss. haha.

SUNday Soccer
My goodness, what's wrong with the weather these days? The SUN was definitely out to burn us.

With the NUS guys still mugging for their Examinations, it's really difficult to get enough people for a decent soccer session. Anyway, i almost had to stay at home and rot until i came online yesterday to bug Marvin to get some of our mates to join others in another new soccer court. It could have been better if Marvin gave the exact location of the new court so more people could have joined us. It's okay, you can't expect people to feed you with the precise information all the time. Ha.

It's been a long time since we played soccer due to the Examination break. Missed the feeling so much that i have been playing lotsa computer games (Virtual Striker) to reduce the effects of withdrawal symptons. ha! In the end, Huifang had to listen to my endless egoistic comments during the soccer games. HAHA!

Well, bumped into my old classmate, Max. Good to play soccer with him again. Quite paiseh with my defence that he's kind of exposed to some stinging shots at times. haha! Guess it will take time for me to hit my peak form again. Anyway, he seems surprised that i didn't dribble much during the game. Perhaps, that was how i used to play... Honestly, i can't exactly remember.

Anyway, one friend commented that i haven't made much improvement as compared to them. Credit to them, they are certainly getting better.

Well, they are improving because they are playing against better players like me. Of course, their skills will improve. Unlike them, better players like me can't improve much by playing against them. Anyway, they were quite amused by this reply. Oh well, i just made this reply to make fun of his comment that's all... haha. i still enjoy playing soccer with them. Really! haha!

What's the point of having a few top quality team-mates who will help me to improve? i rather have many average soccer team-mates who treasure the time of playing soccer together. At least, i don't have to worry that Sunday Soccer is cancelled because of a lack of response.

By the way... What kind of cock reason is that?

Just finished my 1 week of holidays - no work, no school! Well, loves to be a slacker!

Finished this jigsaw puzzle for/with her. Pretty relieved that i managed to complete it before the holidays end. haha~! It's such a nice picture, even used it for my previous entry. Imagine our surprise and delight when we saw this jigsaw puzzle. i just had to go and get it. Thank goodness, i didn't think much of the implications. haha!

It's such a crazy experience... Never want to do it for/with other people again!

Guitar hero and Winning Eleven at Mike's place. Even watched Arsenal's victory at the very same place too. haha! Besides the street soccer courts, it's got to be one of my favourite places for gathering with this group of football-crazy friends. Cheers!


The crazy bbq session with my relatives! haha! Thank goodness, the rain wasn't heavy enough to prevent us from doing 'mass food production'. Quantity over quality... What do you expect? Of course, it's crazy. haha.

The Johor Bahru trip. Marvin's idea of a 'walkable distance'. haha! It's really funny man! Mary Brown's family feast, it's such a good deal! Must return to try it! HAHA!

Her 22nd Birthday... i'm glad that i made the effort to get her favourite cake at Takashimaya. Should have brought another big paper to carry the cake around cos the Takashimaya plastic bag gave the game away! haha!

Sad to say, it's time to report for work...
